What is General Average & Salvage?

The various essential features of the General Average are described in this chapter. On the basis of various criteria, the General Average claims can be made such as pushing, towing, collisions, loss of freight, heavy weather, etc.  which is explained/described in this chapter. At the end, the chapter deals with what is Maritime salvage.
