This course explains conversion of currency and types of Customs Duty. Basic customs duty is levied upon the assessable value. It also describes social welfare surcharge, integrated goods & service tax and compensation Cess, Anti-dumping duty, National Calamity Contingent duty. It mentions about the Objectives, Circumstances, Duration, Extension, Exemptions related to safeguard duty, Value addition in a warehouse-to-warehouse movement and Risk in facilitation of Customs on Import cycle.
